About the line
Line 4 runs between Angered Centrum and Mölndals Innerstad, serving 21 stops. The line is 19.3 km long, from central Mölndal in the south to Angered Centrum in the north-east. Through the centre it runs via Korsvägen, Berzeliigatan (Götaplatsen), Valand, Kungsportsplatsen, Brunnsparken and Drottningtorget by the Central Station, on to Gamlestads Torg, then follows the fast Angered light-rail corridor north through Hjällbo and Hammarkullen. At the big hubs — Brunnsparken, the Central Station, Korsvägen and Järntorget — you can change to other lines on the same platform.

North of Gamlestads Torg, line 4 runs on the Angeredsbanan — a grade-separated rapid tramway where the trams run faster than on the city streets. The Hammarkullen stop lies in a tunnel inside the rock, like a genuine metro station.
