About the line

Line 12 runs between Lindholmen and Mölndals Innerstad, serving 18 stops. Line 12 is the newest line on the network, inaugurated on 14 December 2025. It runs from Lindholmen through the new river tunnel to Nils Ericsonsplatsen and Drottningtorget, then via the Scandinavium arena, Korsvägen and Liseberg Södra to central Mölndal. At the big hubs — Brunnsparken, the Central Station, Korsvägen and Järntorget — you can change to other lines on the same platform.

The 12 serves the Lindholmsförbindelsen — Gothenburg’s biggest tramway expansion in decades. When the tracks are extended to Eriksberg (planned for 2033), line 12 is expected to continue there.
